Cheesy Mostaccoli
1 16 oz. package Penna noodles
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 28 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper
Cook noodles according to package directions. Brown ground chuck in a large skillet. Drain grease. Add soup, seasoning and spaghetti sauce. Simmer. I use a large stoneware bowl, but you can use any large casserole dish. Put noodles and meat sauce in large casserole dish with 2 cups of the mozzarella cheese, mix together well. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 min. After 30 minutes add the other cup of mozzarella cheese on top to melt. Serve with garlic bread and Cesar salad.

A Good Friend Indeed
We are all kind of sad today. Our beloved yellow lab of 10 years, Lady, had to be put down today. She seemed to have a severe case of hip displacia. She was a good companion and playmate for all the kids. Even though she never had a litter of pups of her own, she fondly took in all the pups we have had over the years, as if they were her own. She even went out of her way to get along with all my cats. She will be missed by all of us.
